Tesla and Space X founder Elon Musk and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos have never seen eye to eye. However, lately, both have missed not one opportunity to show the other down, since the latter stepped down from his fortune company and shifted his focus to space exploration via his venture Blue Origin, just like Musk.

Only recently, Musk had taken back his position as the richest man on the planet, and it seemed to make him happiest that he had put Bezos on the second spot.

He apparently wrote “I’m sending a giant statue of the digit ‘2’ to Jeffrey B., along with a silver medal,” in a short email to Forbes.

On Sunday, Bezos posted an image of a 1999 magazine article that predicted Amazon’s demise and criticized its working model; “Listen and be open, but don’t let anybody tell you who you are. This was just one of the many stories telling us all the ways we were going to fail. Today, Amazon is one of the world’s most successful companies and has revolutionized two entirely different industries,” he tweeted.

To that, Musk had a short but resounding response. He replied to the tweet with a silver medal emoji.

On the other hand, Musk added $9 billion to his fortune Friday after an agreement with investors valued SpaceX in excess of $100 billion, more than quadruple the size of Blue Origin, according to Bloomberg’s wealth index. However, most of his revenue still comes from his automobile venture, Tesla. Musk recently crossed the $200 million mark.
