In the Gulf of Mexico, Hurricane Hanna became the first hurricane of the 2020 season to form in the Atlantic. The storm was upgraded to hurricane status early on Saturday morning while approaching landfall in Southern Texas. It is just one of three storms expected to make landfall in the U.S. this weekend.
