San Diego Comic-Con is an unstoppable beast of news that doesn’t let up over the course of four days. Keeping up with it can be very tough, especially if you’re just trying to watch one of the many trailers that gets released.

Luckily, GameSpot has a list of some of the biggest news stories for both TV and film that happened in the various panel rooms–primarily Hall H–over the course of SDCC 2022. In addition to the many trailers you may have caught, there were also announcements for upcoming TV shows, new movies, and tidbits from panel interviews that gave us new insight into upcoming projects.

Below, you’ll find the biggest news stories from the San Diego Comic-Con 2022, including the absolutely ridiculous amount of things Marvel Studios announced when it took the stage in Hall H. Seriously, how did they pack so much into a single hour?

1. Dungeon’s & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves gets first trailer

While there are already two Dungeons & Dragons movies in existence, both of them are bad. So the announcement of a new D&D movie didn’t get a whole lot of people super-excited, that is until they saw the Comic-Con trailer. The delightful and humorous and action-packed trailer got people very excited about the upcoming March 2023 film. Additionally, it featured a whole lot of fun Easter eggs and nods to the roleplaying game–one of which is getting its own toy.

2. Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power invented new characters for the upcoming series

3. Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power extended trailer

4. Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power character posters

If you were confused by the trailer–because you didn’t know who everyone was–don’t worry, Prime Video debuted 22 Rings of Power character posters, so you can see what everyone will look like on the show.

5. Spider-Man: Freshman Year coming in 2024, Charlie Cox will be involved

The Disney+ animated series won’t be arriving until 2024, which is a huge bummer. Luckily, Charlie Cox will be involved in the show, along with other notable names like Paul F. Tompkins. The animated show will follow Peter Parker before the events of Captain America: Civil War.

6. Season 3 of What If…? Announced

7. Season 2 of X-Men ’97 Announced

Much like What If…? X-Men ’97 also got a renewal–but for a second season. Season 1 will be landing on Disney+ in 2023.

8. I Am Groot gets first trailer

The next Disney+ MCU series is I Am Groot. Don’t expect a large-scale, epic adventure though. This series will consist of five short films, all computer generated, featuring none other than Groot. The first trailer arrived, and it looks adorable.

10. Tales of Walking Dead gets first trailer

The six-episode anthology series that takes place in the world of The Walking Dead finally got its first trailer, and it contains exactly what you expect: tales of human survival when the world is filled with the undead.

11. The final season of Walking Dead gets new trailer

12. Michonne And Rick are getting their own show

Remember when Rick was supposed to get his own Walking Dead movies? It’s unknown if those are still happening, but Rick and Michonne are getting their own TV series, which doesn’t have a title yet.

13. Shazam! Fury of the Gods trailer

For the Warner Bros. panel, we were all treated to the first trailer for the Shazam sequel. Of course, much like the first film, Fury of the Gods will feature the same comedic tone, as the Shazam family takes on a trio of superpowered sisters.

14. Viola Davis is returning to DCU as Amanda Waller in Black Adam

One surprise during the Black Adam section of the Warner Bros. panel was learning that Amanda Waller is coming back to the DCU. Viola Davis will reprise her role from the two prior Suicide Squad movies, with Waller planning to take down Black Adam.

15. Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR headed to Netflix

16. Sandman gets its first trailer

17. AMC’s Interview with a Vampire show gets first trailer

18. First John Wick 4 footage arrives

Get ready for the first John Wick 4 footage. The movie will continue the adventures of the titular hitman whose dog was killed by mobsters, so he killed those mobsters, then assassins came after him… and there’s just a lot going on here, and you can expect the same intense action as you got from the first three movies.

19. Lots of Marvel news
