The TD Garden arena’s owner, Delaware North, notified the state of the layoffs of 2,778 workers in Boston, Massachusetts and an additional 102 workers in North Falmouth, Cape Cod.
Delaware North in June notified its employees, who had been on temporary leave since April, “that the leave will likely be extended through September or beyond,” a company spokesperson said.
