Fun in the Sun: A Guide to Summer Activities on Cape Cod

Well hey there summer fun seekers! Name’s Darius and I’ve lived here on the Cape. Let me tell ya, I know a thing or two about making the most of summer around here. So listen up!

First things first, get your bum to the beach! Them waves and golden sands are postcard perfection. Just make sure to lather up, cuz you’ll be red as a lobster otherwise. And keep an eye out for seals when you’re splashing around. I’ve had a wet whiskery surprise kiss or two, let me tell you!

Once you’ve gotten your fill of sun and surf, take some time to explore our cute towns. Bike along the scenic rail trail and see the cranberry bogs in all their glory. But steer clear of squashing any berries unless you want a farmer chasing after you!

And you simply cannot leave the Cape without sampling our mouthwatering seafood. The lobster rolls here are absolute heaven – I know just the seafood shack that’ll have you droolin’ for more. Steamers are a must-try too, just bring a bib and brace yourself for splatter. And pace yourself on those fried clams, unless you fancy a button pop later. Voice of experience here!

With all this fun in the sun, you’ll work up quite an appetite. So make sure to stop by a local ice cream parlor for a creamy cone or cup. But keep an eye on your sprinkles, those darn seagulls love stealing them!
