Okay, this post is way less fun than filling you in on what’s coming to Netflix in August 2020, but you have to know what to binge-watch in the next few weeks before the titles leave for good.
The good news is that most of your classic faves are not on the chopping block. The bad news is the few that are going are some real deep cuts. For one, on August 1 we say goodbye to Skins, the gritty U.K. drama starring Dev Patel and Nicholas Hoult, which is #7 on Glamour‘s list of the best teen dramas from the past 20 years.
Even worse, you have less than one month to binge Clueless as many times as possible before Cher Horowitz bids adieu on August 31, along with Failure to Launch, The Lake House, and V for Vendetta. Personally, this feels like an attack. If Netflix could just get to the kitchen, rearrange some things, we could certainly party with Cher, Dionne, and Tai for a little while longer, right?
Anyways, here’s a full list of what’s leaving Netflix next month. To make up for the loss, I recommend Heath Ledger’s A Knight’s Tale, Les Misérables, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, all coming to Netflix in August 2020.
